How We Got Here
Back in 2018, I was sitting in a coffee shop in Montreal,
watching a friend struggle with her first investment decisions. She had savings sitting
in a low-interest account and knew she needed to do something different, but the world
of investing felt overwhelming and full of jargon.
That conversation sparked something. Over the next few
months, I started helping friends and family understand basic investment concepts. Not
by throwing complicated theories at them, but by breaking things down into pieces that
actually made sense in their daily lives.
What began as informal kitchen table discussions gradually
grew into structured learning sessions. People would bring their questions, their
concerns, their real financial situations. And slowly, we built an approach to
investment education that prioritizes understanding over complexity.
